Intimate and Romantic Brunch Wedding- McConnell House Franklin, TN// Tony and Liz

Tony and Liz were married at the McConnell House in Franklin, TN. They had a lovely morning brunch wedding filled with their closest family and friends. Everything was so intimate and romantic… the colors, the details, and the chemistry between them was breathtaking. Liz had gorgeous lace and embroidered dress from LVD Bridal that she wore for the ceremony and then changed into her reception dress that had delicate petals draping the entire gown. The flowers and bouquet were mixed with a variety of dreamy garden flowers and pops of succulents. After the intimate ceremony, more of their friends and extended family joined to a wonderful feast of southern cooking and a mimosa and bloody mary bar. The details of the wedding were stunning, but the most beautiful part of the wedding was the connection between Tony and Liz. It was so apparent that they are madly in love with each other and cherish each other immensely. I am so honored that I was able to capture this wonderful day and I wish them both the best!!!

Earthy Elegance Greenhouse Wedding- Long Hollow Gardens// Gallatin, TN

I teamed up with Ninth & Everett to create this Earthy and Elegant Styled Wedding at Long Hollow Gardens. It was featured on Ruffled (Click the link to see the feature)!!! We are beyond excited and so honored to be featured for this gorgeous wedding inspiration shoot!

Josiah from Ninth & Everett so greatly worded our inspiration for our design as follows. We wanted to take a very natural environment and add a rich touch of luxury to create the perfect balance of earthy and elegance – A modern but timeless greenhouse wedding.

Constructed in 1880, the Farmhouse at Long Hollow Gardens in Gallatin, TN has become the icon for Sophisticated Farm and Garden Weddings. The Farmhouse, Gardens, Wildflower Meadow, and barn are all located on a 35 acre farm. It is only 20 miles from downtown Nashville! This iconic venue has recently added a beautiful greenhouse to their property that housed our shoot. It is the ideal location for all couples who have a love for nature because you can celebrate your special day “outside” without the concern of rain or harsh winter weather. With transparent ceilings, chandeliers and living plants surrounding you, who wouldn’t fall in love with this unique setting?

Wedding Dress designer, Olia Zavozina hand selected the dress for us to use in our shoot. After describing to her our vision for the shoot, she brought out a brand new dress that has not even been released to the public. She said that the dress alone could “turn the greenhouse into a butterfly conservatory.” From the handwritten menus on paper shipped in from Italy, to the touches of gold and ivory on the moss and wildflower table scape, we worked hard to show that there is a tasteful way to bring the outdoors inside. While the plants and trees grew around us that day, our love for this style and theme grew as well.

Romantic Rustic Southern Wedding- Homestead Manor// Thompson’s Station, TN

There are so many elements of this styled wedding that make it stand out from the rest… the towering magnolia tress, stunning manor, gorgeous bridal suite and airy reception venue. Homestead Manor in Thomspon’s Station was a gorgeous backdrop. Elizabeth Ulrich and Stockroom Vintage did an amazing job at created this romantic, rustic and refined southern wedding.

From the billowy lace used throughout the styling and the light, dreamy textiles in the bridal suite to the rich raspberry tones, fruit and lush florals by The Farmer’s Florist that lined our sweetheart tablescape, we worked to bring plenty of soft, romantic touches to the rustic wood and stone elements of the manor. The result was a luxurious mix of hard and soft, a style that always inspires us.

Brentwood Engagement Photographer- Brock and Whitney

Last weekend was the perfect spring day in Brentwood, TN for an engagement session. Brock and Whitney met me with their dog Marley and everything was perfect… once Marley warmed up to me! After Marley left the session with Whitney’s mom, we explored the park and got to know each other. I think engagement sessions are such an important part of the wedding process. Not only does it help the couple get used to being in front of the camera, it helps us to get comfortable with each other. I learned so much about them individually and as a couple. Brock and Whitney are so down to earth and easy going. I know their wedding in August at Meadow Hill Farm is going to be wonderful, just like them!

Matt and Shannon Wedding- The Antrim// Columbia, TN

Matt and Shannon were married at the Antrim in Columbia on March 12. It was an overcast day with a lingering rain forecast. But it didn’t matter to Matt and Shannon if it were rain or shine! They were so happy to get married to each other and had the best attitudes. It was such a wonderful day full of laughter and love. When you look through these pictures, you can’t help but smile. Matt and Shannon not only love each other, but are surrounded by so many people who love them. I am so honored that I was able to share this wonderful day with them and wish them many years of happiness!
