The Brown family is now a family of three, and that means I get to share some more newborn baby photography with all of you. I was once again invited to shoot this family lifestyle session at their gorgeous home in Mt. Juliet just outside of Nashville. The Brown’s home offers the best natural lighting! I seriously can’t get enough of it because I knew that their home would make it easy for these modern newborn portraits to turn out to be breathtaking. Recently, I had the honor of sharing their gorgeous maternity session, and now that beautiful bump is a beautiful baby! Anna and Austin proudly welcomed their newborn baby son, Theodore, to the world and I couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of him. Anna and Austin are very dear friends of mine and I feel incredibly honored to get to be a part of the sweetest moments in this family’s journey.

Theodore melted my heart each second I spent with him. I loved that he opened his big beautiful eyes to check out what was going on around him. When he looked up at mom and dad it seemed to make time stand still for them. Here is this precious human being that they made looking right at them. Anna and Austin may not have the words for these moments, but they certainly have the photographs that say it all! Whether he was resting in his cute little onesie or making his toes peek out of his swaddle, Theodore made this the cutest, cuddliest newborn baby session this year!

Becoming parents for the first time is exhilarating and overwhelming at the same time. The first few weeks of a newborn baby can leave you speechless in the best and worst ways. But every parent will tell you that no matter the journey, it’s worth it. Having a lifestyle session like this is so important because it reminds you of when it all began and how far you’ve come. The newborn baby stage seems to go by so fast. I am overjoyed that Anna and Austin trusted me to capture just some of those fleeting moments.
